I am looking to buy an ECU, I am not sure which to choose. Kpro is a piggy back to the stock ecu AEM is a stand alone and haltech is the other major player. I can not find a real tread that explains what makes each ecu great so i can decide. If you have info please share Honda Ecu Map

VSS being viewable in the AEM does NOT feedback to the factory ECU. The factory does not even know the AEM exists and vice versa. VSS in the AEM is only used for items like 2step and boost control. Your trans shifts funny due to the MAF readings and such. It's determined based upon MAF volume, IAT, TPS, ECT etc....
Aug 20, 2016 · 1) Checked electrical wiring linked to AEM and OEM ECU, no issues found. 2) AEM series 2 functioning correctly. 3) Pulled the dash out to look over the gauges. No issues found. 4) Checked OEM ECU and looks like the signal from the ECU to register the tachometer is not functioning. We we believe the issue to be that the OEM ECU is not working.
